Crisis to Care Portal
Crisis to Care is CACGA's initiative to support Child and Family Traumatic Stress Intervention (CFTSI) training and implementation across Georgia. With generous support from the R. Howard Dobbs, Jr. Foundation, Crisis to Care addresses mental health disparities across select regions in Georgia by partnering with Child Advocacy Centers to embed CFTSI directly into CAC service workflows.
Over the next year, you and five other CACs will work together to implement CFTSI directly into your CAC service workflows.
Need a Recap on the Child and Family Traumatic Stress Intervention and the Crisis to Care Program?
CACGA teamed up with the National Children’s Alliance Institute for Better Mental Health Outcomes and the West Georgia Child Advocacy Center to bring you ‘Understanding the Child and Family Stress Intervention (CFTSI): Opportunities for Application’. This video provides an overview of the Child and Family Traumatic Stress Intervention (CFTSI), an evidence-based early mental health treatment designed for children, adolescents, and their caregivers during the acute phase of trauma response.
In this video we also introduce CACGA’s Crisis to Care Project, which supports six CACs with CFTSI tuition scholarships and implementation stipends to expand access to timely, trauma-informed care.
