Full-time Psychotherapist

The Georgia Center for Child Advocacy, a Children’s Advocacy Center and NCTSN Cat III site in Atlanta GA, is seeking a full-time clinician to provide therapy to children who have experienced trauma (i.e. sexual abuse, physical abuse, witness to violence, and commercial sexual exploitation) and children with problematic sexual behaviors. Applicants must have a Master’s degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or other related field, be licensed or license-eligible in Georgia, and have a minimum of 1 year experience serving abused, traumatized, or at-risk children and families. Priority will be given to licensed applicants who are experienced in the provision of Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Problematic Sexual Behaviors- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, or other trauma-focused and trauma-informed evidence-based treatments. The ideal candidate has strong written and oral communication skills, works effectively in a team environment, has knowledge of the child welfare and legal systems, is skilled at developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with others (clients, caregivers, co-workers, professionals from other agencies and organizations), and is committed to the principles of cultural humility. Nursing Professional

Rainbow House Inc. is seeking a compassionate nursing professional for the role of Pediatric Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE). Fostered by a “do no harm” philosophy of care, our ideal applicant will provide comprehensive nursing care which may include but not be limited to completion of a forensic examination with forensic evidence collection, and screening, testing and treatment of sexually transmitted infections (STI) as needed. The incumbent will provide care that is developmentally appropriate to children and their families, and will serve as part of the CAC’s multidisciplinary team in response to disclosures of child sexual abuse. Additional responsibilities include providing psycho-social support, teaching, health promotion, anticipatory guidance and linkages to the child’s primary care provider.
