About the Summit

This enlightening summit will bring together professionals involved in various phases of the child welfare process from investigation to prosecution.

Children Advocacy Center, academia, law enforcement, prosecutors, and child welfare experts will share ideas, experiences, and best practices in using a multi-disciplinary team approach to improving the lives of abused children.

Learn about the curriculum designed to end child abuse over the course of a century!

This one day summit includes a continental breakfast, plenary session featuring 11 Alive news anchor Ted Hall, concurrent workshops, and a luncheon with a keynote speaker.

Continuing Education Credits

We have applied for CEU’s, CLE’s and P.O.S.T. credits.

Summit attendees who wish to receive education credit/units for participation in the conference, are required to check in at the continuing education desk and pick up a continuing education packet that will contain forms and information on requirements to receive continuing education credits


Certificates of Attendance

Certificates of Attendance will be available free-of-charge.

Cancellations

Children’s Advocacy Centers of Georgia will refund written cancellation requests received by April 15, 2007, less a $25.00 administrative fee. Refunds can not be processed until after May 30, 2007. Registrations can be transferred to another party at anytime without penalty, as long as CACGA is notified in writing (email: conference@cacga.org) in advance.

Airport Transportation

Taxi service to and from the Hartsville-Jackson Airport is approximately $70.00 one-way. A&M Shuttle Service is available at a cost of $70.00 round trip. Call a day ahead to reserve a seat on the shuttle.
