Andrew H. Agatston, CEO and General Legal Counsel
Andrew Agatston has a long history with CACGA, having served on its Board of Directors, Advisory Board, and most recently on its Interim Management Team prior to being appointed CEO and General Legal Counsel on July 1, 2014. As an attorney in private practice, Andrew began representing Georgia CACs in 1998. He continues to train and consult with CACs nationally on legal matters, and also has since 2008 operated his national “Legal Eagles of CACs” listserv, which analyzes child abuse trials and is offered free of charge to any professional in the U.S. who works for or is affiliated with a children’s advocacy center.
Heidi Reese-Anderson, Program Coordinator
Heidi Reese-Anderson is currently serving as the Program Coordinator for the Children’s Advocacy Centers of Georgia (CACGA). She is responsible for assisting the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in managing the CAC membership program from membership application through the approval process, maintaining effective programs, and providing technical assistance and training opportunities for member centers, multidisciplinary team members, and partnering agencies. Ms. Reese-Anderson graduated from Florida A&M University (1994-2000) where she completed both her Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Psychology and Secondary Education with a specialization in Mental Health Counseling.
Janine A. Ramsay, Executive Assistant and Office Manager
Janine A. Ramsay is the primary point of contact for the CEO and manages the daily operations of the Children’s Advocacy Centers of Georgia chapter office. Currently, she focuses on member contract management, grant application maintenance, meeting and conference logistics, website content and membership access, as well as, social media maintenance. Janine has been with CACGA since 2008 and continues to strive for excellence in her work to help the membership prevent and advocate against child abuse in our state.
